A common way that A Pass partners with institutions of higher education is by providing instructional designers to support existing teams. This includes A Pass Instructional Designers augmenting the institution’s existing teams to provide additional instructional design support when scaling up or temporary support is needed.

Process
Institutions provide a list of qualifications they are looking for in an Instructional Designer. This often includes specific LMS knowledge, experience, background, and availability requirements such as part-time, full-time, timezone, etc.
A Pass identifies qualified candidates and shares resumes with the institution for review.
The institution is welcome to interview a shortlist of candidates in addition to A Pass’s interviews, if preferred.
Once IDs are selected, A Pass will support the ID and institution in training and onboarding specific to the project.

A Pass will provide a weekly time spent report outlining hours used, how time was spent, and hours remaining in the contract.
A Pass will bill only for hours used, typically bi-monthly or monthly.
Staffing Instructional Designers
A Pass has a deep pool of highly-qualified IDs with diverse backgrounds and niche skill sets, which allows for staffing the right ID for the right job.
A Pass has IDs with expertise in many learning management systems (LMS).
A Pass IDs are also highly experienced in partnering directly with institution’s faculty in the Subject Matter Expert (SME) role.
Institutions provide A Pass a list of the specific qualifications they are looking for in an ID and A Pass staffs accordingly.
Institutions can be as involved as they choose in the staffing process. This can include resume review, interviewing candidates, or letting A Pass take care of everything.
