A Pass is proud and happy to announce our new Director of STEM Development, Liz Arcand.
Liz started working with A Pass in 2015 as a freelance mathematics writer and served in both developmental editor and project manager roles before being hired as an Assistant Director of STEM development in 2017 and, eventually, Director of STEM in 2020.
Prior to joining A Pass, Liz spent seven years teaching mathematics for grades 9-12 in urban public and charter school districts across the country. During this time, she served as a department chair, assisted in writing district assessments, and facilitated professional development workshops. She earned her B.A. in mathematics and teaching certification from Michigan State University and her M.A. in Educational Policy from University of Colorado- Boulder.
