A Pass Educational Group, LLC (A Pass), a leader in custom educational content consulting and development, is pleased to announce the promotion of Kristin Soliday to the role of Vice President of Business Development. Kristin’s background as both an educator and sales leader brings a unique perspective to the role, allowing her to creatively blend business development best practices with in-depth understanding of content development needs.
Kristin joined the A Pass community as a freelance science writer in 2017, later serving as a developmental editor, instructional designer, and project manager for a variety of projects before her promotion to Assistant Director of STEM Development in 2018 and then Associate Director of STEM Development in 2021. She took on the Resources Director role in 2023, where she worked to deepen the skillset and engagement of the A Pass contractor community while managing many of the company’s technology tools.
Before coming to A Pass, Kristin worked in sales leadership roles for 15 years. Much of her time was spent in retail management, building strong teams and mentoring new leaders in order to drive KPIs. Kristin led her teams to consistently meet and exceed sales goals through creative strategic initiatives. As a science educator for 6 years, she developed a remediation program for students struggling to pass state Biology benchmark exams and worked as part of a team to develop new benchmark alignments and assessments. Kristin graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Chemistry and received her teaching certification from the University of Mississippi.

With her leadership, I’m confident that our business team will be well-prepared to address the shifting demands of schools, districts, publishers, and educational content providers in the years ahead.

In her new role as Vice President of Business Development, Kristin is responsible for coordinating all of A Pass’s sales and marketing efforts. This entails developing and implementing strategies for effective account management, prospecting, proposal generation, and marketing collateral deployment. Kristin is focused on leveraging technology to create operational efficiencies and increase engagement with new and old customers alike.
